Based in London and Los Angeles, GLOBAL Merchandising Services wanted tailor made ads to push sales for their celebrity clients’ merchandise through social media. Leveraging the popularity of their celebrity clients, eKKO Media created these social media ads to showcase the merchandise in a variety of different formats including gallery post, story post, gif, web banner. Additionally, EKKO Media’s video production team was charged with designing, remodelling, and rendering 3D graphics and animations for GLOBAL Merchandising ads and major clients such as BackStreet Boys and Motley Crue.

In this new age where people have stopped buying music and CS sales are no longer what they were, merchandise sales took on a new importance. Musical artists and bands merchandise now takes precedence in expanding an artist’s brand. And that can now be accomplished with the power of social media.

Their unique situation presented an opportunity to generate highly attractive and engaging content. However, leveraging this influence while resisting the temptation to broadcast overt sales messages is a science. Fortunately, EKKO Media has mastered this craft and we harness this influence when we develop marketing campaigns for clients.

We are adept at creating rich media and motion content for GLOBAL’s wide range of clients. We leveraged our Motion Graphics prowess to create these one of a kind merchanding ads.
For artists like Motley Crue and Ozzy Osbourne, ads with heavy animated smoke, dark colors, and aggressive transitions were necessary. Whereas the ads for a band like Backstreet Boys needed soft colors and smooth animations.
GMS overall engagement and reach increased exponentially. The campaign was a textbook example of delivering the right kind of ads to the right audience on the right platform.
